A specialist technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Technical Architect / Lead Consultant to design, deliver, and assure large-scale mobile communication and control room systems. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility across network architecture, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
The position focuses on mission- and business-critical communication environments and requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, and delivery teams. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must hold or be willing to obtain Security Clearance (SC), with potential for additional levels of vetting.

Role Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, architecture, and technical assurance of complex mobile communication networks
- Providing governance and assurance across large-scale system deployments
- Overseeing programme delivery to ensure alignment with technical, commercial, and operational objectives
- Engaging with stakeholders to capture and define user requirements, journeys, and user experience (UI/UX)
- Producing technical requirements, specifications, and architectural documentation
- Supporting system procurement activities, including specification development, supplier evaluation, and award criteria
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mobile communications technologies, standards, and industry trends
