We’re working with a leading EPC contractor delivering utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects across the UK, with over 2GW in their pipeline. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to lead HV safety and manage the electrical package across grid connection and substation works.
The Role:
- Act as SAP up to 33kV / 66kV (132kV desirable)
- Lead HV switching, isolations, and safety documentation
- Manage the electrical package across BESS, substations, transformers, and grid infrastructure
- Coordinate subcontractors, OEMs, commissioning, and energisation
- Support grid compliance (G99, G5/5) and interface with DNOs/IDNOs
About You:
- Proven experience as an SAP in HV environments
- Background in BESS, substations, or grid-scale renewable projects
- Strong understanding of HV systems, protection, and safety rules
- Electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
