The role:
As an Inside Sales Executive at SmartSurvey, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with potential and existing customers across the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs, guide them in selecting the right plans, and ensure they derive maximum value from our services. This remote position allows you to work collaboratively with a dedicated team while making a significant impact on our growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to new enquiries and assess customer needs effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase how SmartSurvey can benefit customers.
- Prepare and send quotes, and close deals independently.
- Reach out to existing customers to identify opportunities for further engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns aimed at attracting new customers.
- Work alongside the customer success team on key accounts to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide valuable customer insights to the product team to influence future developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software sales, preferably with a focus on quick and frequent deals.
- Strong ability to acquire new customers and nurture existing relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging via phone, video, and email.
- Ability to discern when to close a deal independently and when to involve others.
- Proficient in maintaining an organised customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Familiarity with AI tools, such as Claude, to enhance daily operations.
- Knowledge of surveys, research, or customer feedback is advantageous.
