About the role:
The purpose of the Global HR Advisor role is to support the Global HR Manager and collaborate with the Global HR Team on the delivery of operational and strategic HR. This role will provide professional, commercial and pragmatic advice to Business Executives, Line Managers and Employees, and be an ambassador for the team. The role will include, but is not limited to, employee lifecycle activities, employee relations, immigration, operational HR, talent and performance management, engagement, attendance management, retention, HR projects, global mobility, policy and procedure management, data management and reporting. This will aid the business to attract and retain current and future SmartStream talent, using People analytics, toolkits and advice to educate and drive business and Global HR objectives throughout SmartStream.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Employee Experience projects and initiatives to continuously enhance and improve all aspects of employee journey, prioritising employee satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and improve employee onboarding, induction, performance management and probation processes to enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Co-ordinate and manage global immigration activities including Visa processing, working with the legal team and escalating to HRM when required.
- Continuously improve manager guides, training initiatives and toolkits.
- Support line managers and stakeholders on a range of ER issues related to conduct, performance, sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary with HRM guidance where appropriate.
- Responsible for data integrity on our HR System, ensuring all changes and information held are accurate and updated as required.
- Provide key people analytics to business stakeholders in order to inform and influence HR and company strategy.
- Support HRM on talent management strategy, to include learning and development and career paths.
- Monitor absence and support management of cases including absence analysis, line manager training and support.
- Support HR Director, HR Manager and wider HR team with wider team and company HR projects and initiatives.
- Any other duties as required for the success of the role.

Qualifications:
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is desirable.
Experience:
Previous experience in a human resources role up to advisor level.
