Overview SC CLEARED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – 6 MONTHS CONTRACT. HYBRID WORKING LONDON, BRISTOL OR MANCHESTER. RATE £550 TO £600 PD INSIDE IR35. MUST HAVE VALID SC CLEARANCE.
Our client are looking for a Software Developer to help transform ideas into reliable products and tools that can be used across government.
You will be supporting the Responsible AI, and Data Innovation teams and helping develop strategies to accelerate effective and ethical AI adoption across the public sector.
Responsibilities Responsibilities are aligned with the skills and requirements listed below and focus on developing reliable, secure tools for government use and ethical AI adoption.
Skills and requirements Ability to work with others in a user-centric way
Comfortable working in an agile environment
Confident designing and optimising technical solutions, including security-based solutions
Stakeholder management/engagement
Use of cloud-based platforms, web frameworks and large language models
Solutions Project experience
Government experience is essential
Amazon web services (AWS), cloud platform, Terraform and Docker experience desired
Comfortable leading engineering decisions
Interest in cloud native would be desirable
Awareness of agentic tools
Model Context Protocols (MCP)
