Emergency Response System Specialist
Mainly home-based but travel to client sites will be required (Cambridge, Nottingham, Derbyshire, Yorkshire). This is a fantastic experience to evolve a new role and make it your own. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an application support specialist to support our customers and contribute to service excellence as the primary point of contact for their client's Emergency Response Solution.
This role has a major emphasis on training, train the trainer, but also providing 1st line support. You will be the superuser and own the sharing of knowledge to clients/end users.
Some of the Key Responsibilities:
- Act as key interface between customers, technical teams, and product team providing Functional Support Incident Management
- Design and deliver training sessions (remote and on-site)
- Adapt training content to different user profiles
- Produce user guides and procedures
- Analyse and qualify functional incidents
- Identify root causes and propose appropriate solutions
- Support users in resolving issues
- Assist users in configuring the solution to their specific needs
- Identify recurring issues
- Propose product and process improvements
What You'll Need:
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong training and documentation skills
- Analytical and structured mindset
- Autonomous with strong team spirit
- Organised with good prioritisation skills
- Curious and interested in technology
- Experience in a critical operational environment ideally
- Experience with Emergency Response or operational management systems is a plus
- SQL knowledge is a plus (or willing to learn)
- Good knowledge of Windows environments (or willing to learn)
