6mth Contract Hybrid working 2 to 3 days a week onsite in Manchester. The role demands excellent organisation and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across the department and more widely. Key to success will be your ability to remain calm when busy, think quickly on your feet, prioritise and be flexible with your workload, work independently and exercise strong judgement.
You will be able to deal with internal and external stakeholders and be able to build strong working relationships quickly, confidently engaging with teams to ensure delivery of the Director General's priorities and requests, in a collaborative and creative way.
In this role, you will:
- Prioritise and respond to emails appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Proactively plan meetings and manage the diary in line with business priorities, ensuring agendas, information, and documents are prepared.
- Stay highly organised while managing commissions with varying deadlines, and work proactively with teams to identify and resolve issues early.
- Ensure the Director General's time is used efficiently and effectively, responding to last-minute changes and urgent requests.
- Coordinate and organise meeting and visit logistics, including availability, attendance checks, and cast lists.
- Manage travel arrangements and hotel bookings.
