Business Partner (Commercial)– 6 months – SC - hybrid London - £(Apply online only)pday) Our client is seeking a Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence Business Partner to work on a hybrid basis 2-3 days p/wk in their London office.
The role is an SC cleared role, however the successful candidate can start on BPSS while SC is being transferred.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of commercial, technology and delivery experts from various home organisations working as one team towards the same goals and outcomes.
You are an expert in all things technical commercial, lead by example and role model the Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence culture.
The ideal candidate would be someone with strong commercial acumen particularly in commercial strategy and procurement, stakeholder management at all levels with a solid understanding of procurement regulations and commercial policy.
You will be confident, highly capable and operating at an established Grade 6 level or above.
Experience required: An experienced senior Commercial officer with strong commercial and procurement strategy experience, with demonstrable knowledge in the technical commercial landscape.
You’ll want to work collaboratively across functions and organisations to champion early commercial engagement and be the face of the Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence.
You will have a sufficient understanding of procurement regulations and commercial policy to be able to recognise where current policy impedes fast-paced acquisition and could be adapted to better fit the Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence innovation and digital acquisition scenarios.
You are a problem-solver, able to identify opportunities to improve how the Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence serves its stakeholders and willing to roll up your sleeves to develop solutions that deliver great outcomes.
The Digital Commercial Centre of Excellence is a new team so you will be comfortable working in an environment where pre-determined answers may not be available and will happily take on the challenges associated with creating certainty out of ambiguity.
You will consistently demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, able to manage complex stakeholder groups with competing agendas
