Location: Hull/Hybrid - 3 days a week in office Role Overview As an Implementation Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of data and delivery.
The majority of your role is hands-on data work, including extracting, cleansing, mapping, and migrating customer data into our platforms.
This is complemented by configuring solutions, running training sessions, and guiding customers to a confident, well-supported go-live.
Key Responsibilities Data Manipulation Migration (60%) Extract, cleanse, transform, and validate customer data from Legacy systems, spreadsheets, and third-party exports ready for migration.
Write/maintain SQL scripts and ETL routines to map source data fields to platform schemas.
Perform data quality checks, deduplication, and reconciliation to ensure migrated records match source counts.
Build and refine reusable data migration templates and scripts.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies raised during UAT, working directly in the database and Back End to correct records.
Document data mapping decisions, transformation logic, and known exceptions for audit and handover Implementation Training (; 40%) Configure platform settings, workflows, and integrations Deliver end-user and administrator training sessions Support go-live and hypercare, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth handover to Support.
