SC CLEARED HEAD OF SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT - RATE £675 - £750 PD INSIDE IR35 HYBRID/LONDON 2 DAYS PER WEEK ONSITE. Hybrid role can be based in London or Manchester. Candidates who would use the London office as their base working site are the strong preference. However, candidates who would be based in Manchester would also be considered, but they must be willing to visit London regularly.
You will support digital markets by setting supplier strategy (and working with suppliers to deliver it), supporting commercial deals, providing governance, and ensuring you get maximum value from the agreements put in place. You will work across a diverse supplier landscape—from large, global technology firms and high-value deals to the emergent, scale-up and SME markets.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience and knowledge of leading broad and complex strategic work across systems, with an ability to think strategically and bring clarity and structure to uncertainty when developing policy and processes.
- An ability to translate complex and broad material - both qualitative and quantitative - into clear written or oral analysis and communications, including briefings and presentations.
- Excellent quality in delivery and an ability to operate effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced, political and complex environment.
- Experience working with suppliers, ideally technology suppliers.
- Skills in establishing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, and credibly engaging with and influencing senior leaders and external influencers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a team to deliver new and ambitious priorities.
- Background of working across a mixture of private and public sector.
- Adaptable, flexibility of thinking is important; confident individuals who do not shy away from pushing boundaries.
