As their developer you will be responsible for the development of new applications and maintenance of existing Web sites and other applications working closely with the WMS Development Manager. Responsibilities * Full Life Cycle Development and support of current and future application resolving issues as required and providing fixes or workarounds in a timely manner * Maintaining source control of code using agreed tools and ensuring that code is always checked in and up to date. * Supporting other developers with development of applications or working as a team to implement new solution or enhancement of existing applications. * Managing the Solar Winds Service Desk system, identifying issues within the immediate area of responsibility or re-allocation of mis categorized tasks to the appropriate area. * Managing change requests for CIA, identifying issues, providing fixes and liaising with other team members to resolve issue. * Researching software programs or techniques for improvements of existing or development of future applications. * Monitoring of the performance and reliability of applications to ensure a secure and efficient end user experience. Experience * Experience of web and application development ideally in a 3PL environment, with an understanding of logistics processes and supporting systems. * Demonstrates clear and concise communication; interpersonal, organizational skills. must be able to evaluate situations and be able to problem solve and identify solutions. * Is self-motivated and can manage workload to accommodate multiple projects timelines and priorities.
