We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join as a Commercial Account Executive focused on the Netherlands and Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quota attainment and developing customer accounts within the Nordics or Benelux region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a hyper-growth market for a solution-category leader and support our growth in the EMEA region.
This role is part of the Commercial Sales team, based at Smartsheet in London, UK (hybrid or remote within the UK) , reporting to the Regional Director, Nordics & Netherlands .
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed quotas within your book of 200 accounts, ranging from 200 to 5,000 employees.
- Execute a full end-to-end solution-based sales process in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Solution Engineering and Channel Partners.
- Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts by analyzing high-value needs across departments.
- Work closely with Customer Success to mitigate risks and foster customer growth at renewal.
- Occasionally visit customers in-person across the region and participate in regional marketing events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of SaaS full-cycle sales experience, exceeding quotas with Mid Market Nordic or Benelux accounts.
- Ability to research and uncover upsell opportunities within existing contracts and across organizational units of up to 5,000 employees.
- Experience using MEDDICC as a qualification framework.
- Proven success working with channel partners and resellers, especially in the Nordic region.
- Regular travel for customer visits, conducting effective meetings and presentations.
- Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Tableau.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Dutch or Danish.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
