Job Opening: Commercial Account Executive (Netherlands & Denmark)

Smartsheet seeks an experienced sales professional to join our Commercial Sales team as a Commercial Account Executive , focusing on the Netherlands and Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of quota attainment and developing customer accounts in the Nordics or Benelux regions. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a hyper-growth market for a leader in solution-category.

This position is based at Smartsheet in London, UK (hybrid or remote within UK) and reports to the Regional Director, Nordics & Netherlands .

Responsibilities:

  1. Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet/exceed quotas within a portfolio of 200 accounts (200-5,000 employees).
  2. Execute end-to-end solution sales processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineering and Channel Partners.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts by analyzing and targeting high-value needs across departments.
  4. Collaborate with Customer Success to mitigate risks, and support customer renewal and growth.
  5. Occasional in-person customer visits across the region and participation in regional marketing events.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of SaaS full-cycle sales experience, exceeding quotas, with Mid Market Nordic or Benelux accounts.
  2. Proficiency in researching accounts to identify up-sell opportunities within existing contracts and multi-threading across organizations.
  3. Experience using MEDDICC framework for qualification and forecasting.
  4. Successful collaboration with channel partners and resellers, preferably in the Nordic region.
  5. Regular travel to meet clients, conduct meetings, and deliver presentations across the region.
  6. Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Tableau for activity tracking and insights.
  7. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  8. Fluent in English and Dutch or Danish.
  9. Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
