Junior Trainee Stores Person, based in Marchwood, working days Monday to Friday, 40 hrs. Salary: GBP 12.91 per hour + overtime at GBP 19.37 per hour. Benefits include 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) with an option to purchase additional holidays, pension, life insurance, and excellent training and career development opportunities.

Applicants must be 18+ years old, have a positive attitude towards work, and a willingness to learn. Ideally, candidates should live locally to Marchwood.

We are offering an opportunity for a Junior Trainee Stores Person to join a market-leading company at their Marchwood site. This role is suitable for recent school or college leavers eager to start their career with a company that provides training, learning opportunities, and career growth. As a Junior Trainee Stores Person, you will assist with goods receiving, safe storage, issuing materials to operatives, and ordering materials along with related administration. You will also have the chance to learn how to operate a forklift truck.

Stores Person Main Tasks:

1. Receipt and checking of goods, ensuring they are in good condition upon delivery.
2. Unloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment.
3. Organizing, sorting, and managing stock levels.
4. Following up on late deliveries or missing goods.
5. Maintaining stock records and conducting stock takes.
6. Operating a B1 forklift.
7. Supplying materials to operatives as required.
8. Storing goods safely and appropriately.
9. Performing general store duties, including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
