Large Forklift Driver – B3, Based: Scunthorpe Salary: £12.98ph + overtime @ £19.47ph. *6 month fixed term contract. 40hr week Monday-Friday sociable hours.
We have an opportunity for a B3 Counterbalance Forklift Driver / FLT Driver to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The depot operation prepares and refurbishes the units ready for hire or sale. The purpose of the role is to assist in the movement and storage of cabins (15t) within the depot facility. The company offer genuine career progression routes. This role is working on a 6month fixed term contract.
Experience of driving large forklifts and B3 licence is essential. Applicants will need to be a confident forklift driver and lift 32ft / 15t units.
Forklift Driver Key duties:
- Loading and unloading units from vehicles.
- The selection of units as required by workshop.
- General maintenance of forklift and other MHE equipment.
- Loading of a range of furniture into the cabins and removing on completion of hire.
- The fitting and removal of partitions, other fittings and general maintenance duties.
- Adhere to all site Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Occasional visits to customer sites to double stack units and install staircase and landings and then removal of the same.
