  • Demonstrable experience implementing preventative maintenance programmes, improving plant reliability and reducing unplanned equipment downtime.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment and mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Experience managing engineering budgets, CAPEX projects, maintenance contractors and engineering improvement initiatives.
  • Good understanding of asset management, reliability-centred maintenance, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities, monitor performance and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Sound knowledge of UK engineering compliance and health and safety requirements, including relevant regulations such as PUWER, LOLER and PSSR.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage engineering teams and influence operational performance.
