SmartResilience is a climate adaptation SaaS company helping global organisations quantify and reduce physical climate risks across their operations and supply chains.
While many organisations focus on disclosure frameworks such as TCFD, we help them move beyond reporting toward practical, engineered resilience. Our platform combines climate science, geospatial modelling and adaptation planning to support real-world decision-making.
We are now looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to help us grow our pipeline and connect forward-thinking organisations with our platform at a pivotal moment for climate resilience.
As an SDR at SmartResilience, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients — researching targets, sparking conversations and qualifying opportunities for the commercial team. This is a high-impact, outbound-focused role ideal for someone early in their career who is genuinely motivated by sustainability and wants to develop serious commercial skills in a growing climate-tech company.
- Research and identify enterprise prospects across priority sectors including food, healthcare, retail and real estate
- Execute thoughtful outbound outreach across LinkedIn, email and events
- Engage sustainability, ESG, risk and operations stakeholders to open conversations
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery calls for the sales team
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and activity tracking in CRM
- Develop working knowledge of TCFD, physical climate risk and emerging sustainability regulation
- Use sector intelligence to personalise outreach and demonstrate relevance
- Monitor climate, ESG and regulatory trends to inform prospecting strategy
- Share prospect feedback and market signals with the commercial and product teams
- Support the preparation of outreach campaigns, messaging tests and event follow-up
We are particularly keen to hear from women who are motivated by sustainability and want to build a commercial career at the intersection of climate science and enterprise sales.
2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, sustainability, or a client-facing role.
A proactive, organised approach and comfort with outbound outreach.
No prior climate expertise is required — we will invest in your development.
We are building a high-performance culture grounded in flexibility, care and empathy.
- Flexible working arrangements
- Direct access to leadership and real commercial exposure from day one
- Structured SDR training and coaching in consultative climate-tech sales
- A clear progression pathway toward Account Executive
- Competitive base salary + performance commission
The market is shifting from compliance frameworks toward operational adaptation — and SmartResilience is helping lead that shift. If you want to build a commercial career while contributing to work that genuinely matters, this is a strong place to start.
