The climate resilience market is at an inflection point. We're looking for someone who's either helped shape it or built a business inside it. SmartResilience is a SaaS climate adaptation company trusted by FTSE100 businesses to assess and reduce physical climate risk across their operations and supply chains. We combine climate science, geospatial modelling, and early warning systems to help organisations move from risk awareness to real resilience.

We're growing, having secured equity investment from One Planet Capital, FSE Group, and Bayes Entrepreneur Fund to accelerate our next phase. Now we're looking for a Non-Executive Director or Board Advisor to help us grow with precision.

You're likely one of two people:

  • A senior leader — a CSO, COO, Head of Risk, or sustainability advisory leader - who deeply understands how enterprise buyers think about physical risk, who the decision-makers are, and where the regulatory and market landscape is heading.
  • An exited founder who built and scaled a B2B SaaS business in the climate, sustainability, or ESG space - and who knows firsthand what it takes to win enterprise clients, raise investment, and position a company for long-term growth.

Either way, you understand this market and you want to put that to work somewhere that matters.

Why SmartResilience:

Most climate risk tools tell organisations what's coming. We help them do something about it. Our differentiation sits in the combination of rigorous climate science, physical adaptation guidance, and early warning systems - delivered across short, medium, and long-term horizons so organisations can plan and act, not just report.

We're already trusted by major businesses in food, retail, and healthcare - sectors where the physical impacts of climate change are immediate and material. We've won multi-year contracts with FTSE100 companies, reached profitability, and built a platform with real depth. This isn't early stage speculation - it's a growing company with proven clients, a clear market, and significant runway ahead.

The regulatory environment — TCFD, CSRD, and growing physical risk disclosure requirements - is creating urgency among exactly the organisations we serve. The timing is right.

Where you'll add value:

  • Sharpening our go-to-market strategy and market positioning
  • Opening doors with the right enterprise buyers and partners
  • Advising on our fundraise and growth trajectory
  • Acting as a trusted sounding board for the CEO
