We're looking for fun, energetic and caring Playworkers to join our Holiday Club team this October half term!

You’ll help create an exciting and safe environment where children can have fun, make friends and enjoy a fantastic range of activities, including:

• Help plan and deliver fun and engaging holiday club activities
• Lead and support sports, games, arts & crafts, creative activities and outdoor play
• Encourage children to participate and try new activities
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive environment
• Supervise children throughout the day and ensure their wellbeing
• Support children during arrival, activities, mealtimes and collection
• Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining high hygiene standards
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
• Complete sign-in and sign-out procedures correctly
• Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity areas
• Complete accident, incident and activity records where required
• Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues and school staff
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage teamwork and participation

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, lots of energy and a genuine passion for working with children.

• Playworker

• Teaching Assistant
• Sports Coach
• Youth Worker
• Camp Counsellor

• Up to £12.71 per hour + holiday pay
• 37.5 paid hours per week
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day
• Casual contract
• No weekend working
• Future holiday club work available throughout the school holidays

We’re committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. All roles require an Enhanced DBS check and Children's Barred List Check and are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment is subject to satisfactory DBS and suitability checks. As part of our safeguarding and due diligence procedures, online searches may be undertaken in relation to shortlisted candidates.

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Complete our application process — CVs alone cannot be accepted
• Provide two satisfactory references, including one from their most recent employer
• Undergo an Enhanced DBS check (unless already registered on the DBS Update Service, subject to the required checks)
• Provide documentation to support identity, right to work and vetting requirements

All safeguarding checks must be successfully completed before employment can commence.
