Fairmont St Andrews are looking for an ambitious and passionate Restaurant Manager to take the lead at one of the most exciting F&B outlets. This a restaurant with two very different personalities and you'll be at the heart of both.

By day, it's a golfer's paradise. Great food, relaxed hospitality and the perfect place to refuel before or after a round on our championship courses.

By night the restaurant comes alive as an award-winning AA Rosette Steak and Seafood destination, showcasing local quality produce and exceptional service.

We're looking for someone who can lead both sides of the experience and create a restaurant that guests want to return to, whether they're here for their first tee time or their final course.

What you will be doing:

As Restaurant Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, leading your team to deliver outstanding service across a unique and varied operation.

You're visible, hands-on and guest-focused, working alongside your team to ensure every service runs seamlessly.

Reporting to the Director of F&B and the Director of Golf & Estates, you'll:

• Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team
• Ensure Fairmont and AA Rosette standards are consistently delivered
• Create memorable experiences for golfers, hotel guests and local diners
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver warm, personalised serviceManage rotas, staffing, training and team development
• Drive Food & Beverage sales and team incentives
• Manage stock, purchasing and operational costs alongside the F&B Controller
• Monitor guest feedback and confidently resolve any issues
• Take ownership of the restaurant's P&L, forecasting and financial performance
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider resort teams to deliver an exceptional experience

About You

We're looking for a natural hospitality leader who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and understands that exceptional service is all about the details.

You’ll bring:

• Previous restaurant or F&B management experience preferably in a five-star environment
• A genuine passion for food, drink and exceptional service
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence with financial targets
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A hands-on, positive approach and the ability to adapt to changing business levels
