Job Description

The Role

We'relooking for a proactive and organisedData Protection Assistantto support the Group's data protection and privacy activities across our fast-paced, multi-brand business.

Working closely with the Data Protection Manager and wider team,you'llhelp ensure personal data is handled responsibly and in line with regulatory requirements. This isa great opportunityfor someone looking to build a career in data protection, compliance,governanceor risk.

You'llgain exposure to a wide range of business areas, supporting day-to-day privacy operations,documentation,trainingand stakeholder requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of the Group's data protection framework
• Assistwith responding to data subject rights requests, including access,deletionand correction requests
• Helpmaintaindata protection records and documentation, including processing activity records and risk assessments
• Support the investigation and documentation of data protection incidents and breaches
• Assistwith supplier due diligence and data protection reviews
• Helpmonitorteaminboxesand respond to routine privacy-related queries
• Support privacy reviews for new projects,systemsand business initiatives
• Assistwith preparing guidance,communicationsand awareness materials for employees
• Help organise andmaintainpolicies,proceduresand governance documents
• Monitor regulatory updates and support the Data Protection team with ongoing improvement initiatives
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Data Protection team

Qualifications

• Previousexperience in an administrative, compliance,governanceor support role
• Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel,Wordand Outlook
• Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Exposure to data protection, compliance, governance,riskor legal administration activities
• Experience working within a regulated environment such as financial services, insurance,healthcareor retail
• Relevant qualifications or studies in law, business,complianceor information governance
• Interest in privacy, technology,informationsecurityor data governance
