Job Description
Lithium3 are working with a business in South Derby and we require the services of a Network Engineer on a permanent basis.
However, this role sits within a traditional 3rdLine Infrastructure team; so we also require Server and Storage experience too.
We require a Network Engineer / 3rdLine Infrastructure Engineer that would be the to go person when it comes to the Network, but we need for the successful candidate to help on the Server/ Storage side too as and when required.
Holding a Cisco certification is highly desirable.
This role is paying £35k - £45k and the role sits within a team of 8 within the Infrastructure team.
Role:
- Work the Systems and Development teams
- Management of the network andof theserver systems
- Createdocumentation withwell writtenguidelines alongpolicies and procedures
- 3rd line Infrastructure support
- Management and monitoring and support of the server and network systems

- Cisco
- Citrix or Microsoft application and desktop delivery solutions
- Server & backups
- Microsoft Exchange
- Storage systems (DAS and NAS and SAN)
- ITIL
Desirablewish-list of requirements:
- IT Security
- Cloud based hosting (Azureor AWS)
- Juniper / Cisco Firewalls
- WLAN management as well as configuration
- SQL Server
- Telephony
