Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team in Inverness, IV2 7TD. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and ambitious chef to join a professional catering operation, developing their skills while working alongside an experienced culinary team.

As a Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food across a variety of services while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

  • Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Supporting fine dining and hospitality events
  • Training and mentoring new team members
  • Following recipe cards and specifications to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintaining kitchen records and due diligence documentation
  • Assisting with stock checks, stock control, and food ordering
  • Supporting deep cleaning schedules and maintaining excellent kitchen standards, Working collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications

  • Relevant culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent)
  • Trained to Chef de Partie level
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive and flexible approach to work
  • Passion for food and delivering high-quality dishes
  • Confidence to work in a busy kitchen environment
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to learn and develop

Additional Information

  • Must have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Must be able to pass DBS and security vetting checks
