Job Title: Team Leader
Location: John Lewis Glasgow
Reports to: Manager /General Manager
Contract Type: Full -time
Job Purpose
This role encompasses working any days of the week, with regular weekend work. You will offer thehighest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparingand serving quality food and beverages, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the location. Thisrole is primarily front of house.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
- To ensure food safety compliance is followed at all times.
- To be responsible for a specific area or food offering, with flexibility to rotate to a new area ifneeded.
- To organise deliveries , checking delivery notes, and reporting any discrepancies .
- Assisting with clearing tables.
- Assisting with any team queries , supporting the management team.
- To carry out daily team briefings and assist with any team queries.
- To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health andSafety, Food Safety and COSHH.
- To work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and serving food anddrinks.
- To assist with the development of the team, providing training where required, especially onthe areas of the food and beverage service , supporting management in the delivery oflabour effectiveness targets.
- To attend all training and development course as requested.
- To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviourappearance and knowledge.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
