Job Description
At ibis Styles Barnsley, we believe great food is a key part of creating memorable guest experiences. We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis, working 18 hours per week. Whether you're building your career in hospitality or bringing existing kitchen experience, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety practices. We offer a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.71 per hour plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to a high standard.
- Follow all food hygiene, HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the wider kitchen team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
- Help minimise waste and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for food and hospitality.
- A positive and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to perform in a busy kitchen environment.
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
