Job Opportunity – Head of Finance – East Midlands
One of my local Government clients based in the East Midlands are currently on the lookout for a Head of Finance (Dep S151) to join their team on an interim basis.
Head of Finance (Dep S151)
Contract Length: 6 Months+
Location: East Midlands
Pay Rate: DOE
Days: X5 p/w
Start Date: ASAP
Hybrid working: ideally looking at X1 day p/w in office.
The role will include:
- Managing the Finance Team of 12 members.
- You will have X2 direct reports who are Finance Managers.
- Finance within the council encompasses budget setting/monitoring (capital & revenue), creditors, treasury, collection funds, ledger systems, insurance, FOI’s etc.
Successful Candidates Will
- Have experience working in a local authority at minimum Head of Finance level.
- It is desirable that candidates have also previously acted at Deputy S151 Officer level.
