Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Job Description SmartPro are working with a global leader in providing high-technology engineering services. They are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor to join the team in the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to environmental, health & safety control, arrangements & documentation across the site. Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities for the Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor : Leading by example & championing EHS on a day-to-day basis. Serving as the point of contact for all EHS matters & advising those with delegated EHS responsibilities. Taking a pragmatic approach to EHS challenges solutions. Preparing, reviewing & updating internal & external EHS policies & documentation in consultation with relevant personnel (eg safe operating procedures, risk assessments, work permits). Confidentially coordinating the health surveillance programme, analysing reports. Leading incident investigations in conjunction with responsible persons.
