We are looking for an experienced Life Insurance and Protection Adviser to join our growing team. This is a full-time role focused on reviewing and advising on existing protection arrangements for our extensive customer base, as well as clients referred through our mortgage network and finance team. This is not a call centre style environment. You will work alongside a small, experienced group of advisers in a professional and supportive setting, with the autonomy to do the job properly - no micromanagement, no aggressive dial targets. Advisers who provide quality advice, stay active, and build trust with clients consistently perform well in our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reviewing existing protection policies for our 55,000-strong customer base
  • Advising clients referred by our 100+ mortgage partners and in-house finance team
  • Providing tailored advice primarily on Life Insurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness
  • Taking the time needed on each case to deliver excellent customer outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance standards are met throughout the advice and application process
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction

Our approach and lead sources mean a 95% client retention rate is achievable.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience advising on life insurance and personal protection
  • Strong knowledge of the UK life and protection market
  • Clear understanding of compliance expectations in the advice process
  • Self-motivated, professional, and client-focused
  • Looking for a stable, professional, long-term working environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Business Protection and/or Private Medical Insurance
  • R05 and/or CeMAP qualifications

Salary & Commission

OTE £45,000 - £65,000 (Targets are achievable and accurately reflect what advisers earn) Basic Salary: £27,500 - £32,500 (depending on experience) Commission 10% for advisers hitting target 5% if slightly below target. Targets are realistic and consistently achieved - most advisers earn at 10% commission most months.
