Smartly is looking for a performance-driven Growth Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team in London. In this role, you will own the lifecycle roadmap end-to-end - designing, building, and optimizing prospect and customer journeys that drive measurable impact across the funnel. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you will translate revenue goals into structured lifecycle programs, running a high-velocity test-and-learn agenda with deep expertise in email marketing and Marketo, and a keen eye on data to inform decisions. You will operate at the intersection of growth strategy, operational excellence, and performance marketing - partnering closely with Sales, Events, Brand, Paid Media, and external agencies.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Own and design Smartly’s end-to-end email marketing and nurture calendar, building and optimizing high-performing programs that increase engagement, improve open rates, and materially lift click-to-open rate (CTOR) and downstream conversion metrics across the lifecycle.
  • Drive lifecycle performance from lead to opportunity, building scalable programs that increase conversion to opportunity.
  • Lead a structured experimentation roadmap with clear hypotheses, testing emails.
  • Manage the external offshore agency to execute campaigns at scale with strong QA and performance oversight.
  • Own execution of select integrated cross-functional campaigns, by setting clear goals and partnering cross-functionally to execute on programs.
  • Measure lifecycle and campaign performance using dashboards and custom reports to guide prioritization and clearly communicate results.
  • Build and optimize smart lists, engagement programs, trigger campaigns, tokens, and templates in Marketo.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and data flow between Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to diagnose funnel gaps and guide prioritization.
  • Share insights with leadership and continuously refine lifecycle strategy based on data.

We are looking for you if you have:

  • 5+ years of lifecycle or retention marketing experience within B2B environments.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Proven experience running lifecycle or customer marketing programs that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing agencies or offshore partners.
  • Curiosity around AI and marketing technology, with the ability to apply emerging tools to improve lifecycle efficiency.
