Our client is seeking a Town Planning Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and development of retail and property projects in Hong Kong. You will play a crucial role in shaping the urban landscape and ensuring compliance with all statutory and non-statutory requirements.

What you'll be doing?
- Lead Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies, prepare rezoning proposals, and master layout plans for both statutory and non-statutory submissions.
- Manage Lease Modifications: Oversee lease modifications, land exchanges, and town planning applications through the approval processes.
- Communicate with Authorities: Engage with government and partners to secure the necessary approvals for planning proposals and applications.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables to meet submission and approval milestones.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related disciplines.
- Experience Required: A minimum of 12 years’ relevant work experience, with 6 years at a managerial level.
- Professional Membership: Possession of Corporate Membership of Hong Kong Institute of Planners or a recognised planning professional institution.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and negotiation skills with consultants and government officials. Highly motivated and well-organized; able to work independently and proactively on large-scale projects.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; competent with MS Office.
