This role is a key executive leadership role responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of SEBL. As a member of the Executive Committee, the DVP of Operations will translate strategic priorities into operational excellence, ensuring the business delivers outstanding customer outcomes while driving strong commercial and financial performance. The role provides leadership across Core Operations, Customer Success, Training & Development, and Contract & Performance Management, creating a scalable, efficient, and high-performing operation across the entire customer lifecycle.
The successful candidate will lead the stabilisation and transformation of operations, driving improvements in cost-to-serve, revenue and margin protection, cash collection, service quality, and operational resilience. They will foster a high-performance, data-driven culture, supported by robust governance, performance management, and continuous improvement, while developing the operational capability, leadership, and delivery model needed to support the organisation's long-term growth and strategic ambitions.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Extensive senior leadership experience leading large-scale operational functions within regulated industries, with accountability for end-to-end operational performance;
- Proven track record of delivering operational and commercial improvements, including cost-to-serve reduction, revenue and margin optimisation, customer retention, and cash collection;
- Significant experience leading complex operational transformation programmes, including automation, operating model redesign, offshoring, and continuous improvement;
- Strong commercial and operational expertise, with experience across customer operations, billing, settlements, customer lifecycle management, contracts, performance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
