The Business Analysis Manager – Trading IT is a key leadership role responsible for driving the Business Analysis capability within Trading IT and ensuring strong alignment between business objectives and technology delivery. Reporting to the Head of Trading IT, you will act as the primary link between Trading business stakeholders and IT teams, leading the translation of strategic priorities, operational needs, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable requirements that support successful change delivery.

Leading a team of Business Analysts, you will provide coaching, performance management, and professional development while promoting consistent, high-quality analysis practices across the function. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, delivery teams, and external partners, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions, improving delivery outcomes, reducing risk, and ensuring that Trading IT initiatives deliver measurable business value.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Significant experience within energy trading or a similarly complex, regulated environment, with strong knowledge of front-, middle-, and back-office trading processes and the end-to-end deal lifecycle;
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing Business Analysts;
  • Extensive experience delivering business analysis for complex IT change programmes;
  • Strong understanding of ETRM platforms and trading systems, with experience supporting the delivery of technology solutions for trading, risk, portfolio management, settlement, or back-office functions.
