In this high-profile position, you will take responsibility for leading and developing a team of Salesforce developers and Administrators to deliver innovative and scalable solutions on the Energy and Utilities Cloud - Salesforce platform.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, ensuring the successful completion of projects, best practices adherence, and professional development, including on-time delivery of small changes and programmes.
  • Oversee and manage the development of Energy & Utilities Cloud solutions on the Salesforce platform for our global businesses, including Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, Omni scripts, Data Raptors, Integration procedures, and integrations with third-party applications.
  • Oversee the implementation of high-quality, scalable, and secure Salesforce applications, following Salesforce’s best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.
  • Lead efforts in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.).
  • Oversee the utilization of Salesforce objects, page layouts, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Review code written by the development team, ensuring that it is well-structured, efficient, and follows best practices.
  • Monitor the Salesforce platform for performance optimization opportunities, ensuring smooth operation and a high-quality user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, solutions, and best practices. Encourage knowledge sharing within the team and across departments.
  • Lead the troubleshooting of complex technical issues, provide advanced support to the team, and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
