You will play a key part in procuring and managing biofuels across the UK and Europe, ensuring we meet the compliance and voluntary needs of diverse sectorsâincluding Maritime, Industrial, Road Transport, Aviation, Corporates, and Energy suppliers. You will oversee the accurate management and allocation of renewable certificates, supporting the desk's goal to operate profitably, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the renewable certificate inventory, ensuring it is managed with high precision and allocated to maximise commercial value. With a focus on automation, data integrity, and a deep understanding of the evolving policy landscape, you will handle large datasets, conduct detailed analysis, and generate regular reports. You will also collaborate across functions, support new deal setups, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, all while utilising tools like Python, Excel, and Power Automate to streamline workflows. What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experience in manipulating large complex datasets or process automation.
- Academic or internship experience involving quantitative analysis.
- Working knowledge of Python, Power BI, Power Automate, and other dataâprocessing tools.
- Ability to interpret regulatory, compliance, and commercial frameworks quickly and accurately.
- Direct experience operating within the ISCC certification framework for renewable fuels, with expertâlevel understanding of ISCC audits, sustainability documentation, and mass balance system.
