Debt Team Leader in Worthing

As a Team Leader, you'll play an important role in creating a positive, supportive and high-performing team environment. By providing guidance, coaching and encouragement, you'll help your team achieve their goals while delivering excellent outcomes for our customers and business. Reporting to the Manager, you'll monitor performance, celebrate successes and identify opportunities for growth and development.

In this role, you'll lead, motivate and develop a team of Debt Management Executives, supporting them to effectively manage outstanding debt and maximise cash flow performance in line with agreed KPIs. You'll foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring every team member has the tools and support they need to succeed.

You'll ensure all customer interactions and queries are handled professionally, empathetically and within agreed debt management policies, procedures and customer SLAs. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes, helping to strengthen cash flow performance while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service and positive customer relationships.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Team Leader experience;
• Experience of working within a regulated environment in a similar role;
• Proven experience of managing a large volume debt book;
• Understanding of credit and debt management processes.
