We are seeking skilled Trading Developers to design and deliver high-performance trading tools and automated processes that enable profitable trading across multiple markets and commodities. You will play a key role in building robust, scalable, and secure solutions that support front-office trading activities and complex analytical workflows.
Working closely with Trading, Quantitative, Optimisation & Structuring, Infrastructure, and Data teams, you will translate business requirements into well-engineered technical solutions. This role combines hands-on software development with collaboration, mentorship, and DevOps best practices, offering the opportunity to have a direct impact on trading performance while shaping modern, enterprise-grade systems.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Professional experience designing, developing, and deploying coding solutions in a production environment;
- Proven experience in statistical analysis and working with both relational and non-relational databases;
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps;
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative, cross-functional development environments;
- Strong programming knowledge, with experience in Python, C#, C++, and VBA;
- Good understanding of SQL and best practices for query optimisation, table design, and data modelling;
- Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing tools.
