As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in turning business strategy into practical, future-focused technology solutions. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you’ll shape enterprise architecture across applications, data, technology, security and shared services, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, aligned to strategic priorities and capable of delivering measurable business outcomes. You’ll work confidently across business and technology teams, translating complex requirements into clear architecture roadmaps, investment options and enduring solution blueprints. You’ll also help shape the organisation’s future through capability planning, technology rationalisation and the responsible adoption of AI and emerging technologies. With a strong focus on governance, security, risk and regulatory assurance, you’ll act as a trusted design authority and ambassador for architecture, influencing senior stakeholders and embedding architectural thinking across the global business. What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Substantial experience across Enterprise, Solution and/or Data Architecture, including experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of modern data and AI architectures, enterprise technology trends and their practical application to evolving business models.
- Proven experience with Enterprise Architecture tools and repositories, architecture frameworks, governance and solution design.
- Strong understanding of cloud, SaaS, APIs, microservices and modern technology architectures, with the ability to remain technology and vendor neutral.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge stakeholders effectively, work collaboratively and translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
