The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will be working on a key, high-profile project, liaising with IT Business partners, 3rd party vendors and end-users to support the implementation across new and existing applications, proactively identifying opportunities to better support business processes and manage regulatory change.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Analyse and evaluate the software and systems that the business utilises, identifying issues and areas for change and improvement;
  • Query writing, perform Testing including system upgrades, support packages, disaster recovery scenarios;
  • Update existing APIs and integrations;
  • Create technical specifications and test plans;
  • Write operational and process flow documentation;
  • Consult colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and with a view to writing or modifying current operating practices;
  • Define systems requirements for new technology implementations, estimating work packages to stakeholders and deliver on time;
  • Product ownership, and product roadmap strategy and delivery;
  • Liaising on operational issues with 3rd party vendors, coordination of software releases, configuration changes, patches and bug-fixes, ownership of problems and incidents.

  • Experience in the energy sector, especially in regulatory projects;
  • Proven experience in IT Application Management or Development.
