Working Hours: Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 19:45-06:00 £17.35 hour (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day)

Key Objectives

Reporting to the Management Team, you will be responsible for unloading/loading of deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. You will move materials across the factory to the correct staging areas, load/unload pallet racking, and ensure all documentation is recorded accurately.

Responsibilities include:

  • Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
  • Distribute stock to various locations around the factory and document movements
  • Goods In: unload safely, check off, locate, and document accurately
  • Goods Out: load safely, check off, locate, and document accurately
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Performing and recording daily equipment checks
  • Assisting with stock checks of all materials
  • Maintaining production area housekeeping
  • Minimizing waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumables efficiently
  • Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assisting in stores when required, including lifting items with the FLT
  • Always maintaining a safe working environment

Employees are required to adopt a flexible approach to work and may occasionally be asked to perform other duties, for which adequate training will be provided.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Essential Counterbalance/Reach Truck License
  • Experienced and competent in operating Counterbalance/Reach Trucks
  • Organized, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained
