Skilled and experienced Shot Blaster required for our Foston (DE65 5PY) based client. The role will involve shot blasting large commercial tankers and MOD vehicles with "over the shoulder" shot blasting equipment.
All applicants must have previous experience working with this type of machinery and be available for immediate starts. The hourly rate is £16 per hour, 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, DAYS; 5pm to 2am NIGHTS, PLUS £200 SHIFT ALLOWANCE (NIGHTS ONLY) with overtime at £24 for any hours worked over 40 in a week. The positions will be permanent for all suitable applicants. Only Over the Shoulder Shot Blasting candidates will be considered.
As a Shot Blaster, you will be integral to the preparation and finishing processes of various metal components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for further processing. The organization expects you to utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure high-quality results. Your experience in Blasting will enhance your effectiveness in this role, contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.
