Base Salary: £25,000.00 - £29,000

Smarter Cover is a Life insurance firm in a period of hyper growth following the release of our own products onto the market.

We have expanded into a new super slick office that allows us to continue our growth as we aim to be 200+ sales people by end of 2027 and are looking to develop our Recruitment team to support this expansion.

Our new office is based close to the train station with excellent links to Leatherhead town and a range of pubs, shops, restaurants and gyms all within walking distance for you to take advantage of on your breaks.

We’re looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to our small & agile People department. With an HR overhaul in progress and a large number of new hires needed, we’re looking for someone that is looking to shift their career to internal recruitment.

2025 and 2026 promise to be an extremely good time to join the company, we’re on-track to grow exponentially & there will be opportunities to progress and take ownership over your work.

Role Overview

As an Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist at Smarter Cover, you will play a key role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts. You will work closely with the Head Of Talent Acquisition as well as the hiring managers to source, screen, and recruit top talent for various positions within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about recruiting and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assist with the creation and posting of job descriptions on relevant platforms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation activities.
  • Provide support for other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Requirements

  • Previous experience in Recruitment (Agency or Internal)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Passion for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Desirables

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or human resources preferred
