As the operational core of the UK office, you will be fully responsible for daily administrative operations, logistics coordination, and independently managing key immigration compliance and the employer sponsorship license. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the UK team and maintaining the company’s legal compliance in employing foreign nationals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Immigration Compliance & Sponsorship Management: Act as the company’s designated official contact with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), fully managing the Sponsor License. Handle daily operations of the Sponsor Management System (SMS), including allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), reporting employee changes (e.g., leaving, role changes), and annual compliance reporting. Independently manage all correspondence with immigration authorities and, when required, accompany immigration officers during site visits or interviews, clearly explaining the business rationale and compliance of employing foreign staff. Draft, review, and sign legal documents related to immigration matters on behalf of the company.
  • General Office Operations & Management: Oversee daily office operations, including office environment maintenance, supplier management, procurement of office supplies, and asset management. Provide local support for new hire onboarding (e.g., workstation setup) and assist with administrative handover for departing employees. Coordinate with HR and management in China to implement personnel and administrative policies relevant to the UK office.
  • Logistics, Materials & Cross-Department Support: Manage local inventory, allocation, and records of materials in the UK, ensuring accuracy. Assist the marketing team with delivery, setup of event materials, and coordination of logistics for large items. Serve as the UK point of contact for sales, marketing, and other departments regarding cross-border logistics, customs clearance, and related processes. Support local coordination of departmental processes such as reimbursement and approvals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or the team in support of business development needs.

Requirements

  • Essential: Holder of UK Indefinite Leave to Remain or British citizenship. Strong sense of responsibility, meticulousness, and confidentiality; capable of independently handling sensitive legal compliance matters. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills; able to serve as an effective bridge between Chinese and UK teams. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong multitasking, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in UK-based administration, operations, or a related role; experience in immigration compliance is a plus. Background in law, business management, or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills; able to proactively drive work forward across time zones and international collaboration.
