As an SAP EWM S/4HANA consultant, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. You will work closely with business users, warehouse operations teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver efficient warehousing processes, accurate inventory management, and continuous operational improvement. The role involves analysing business requirements and mapping them to SAP S/4HANA EWM processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP BAU operations while implementing, configuring, and optimising SAP EWM on HANA for warehouse processes.
- Analyse business requirements and design solutions for inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and inventory management.
- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules including SD, MM, PP, QM, and LE, as well as external automation systems (RF, conveyors, ASRS, AGVs).
- Configure EWM master data such as warehouse structure, storage types, work centres, resources, and packaging specifications.
- Configure and support putaway, picking strategies, slotting, replenishment, and wave management processes.
- Manage and configure RF processes, labour management, and warehouse order creation rules.
- Provide end-user training, SOP documentation, and functional knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system stability and performance.
- Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warehouse process execution and system integration.
Your Profile
- Graduate or Post Graduate qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or Management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP EWM configurations.
- Hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, or production support.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SAP EWM on S/4HANA (Embedded or Decentralised).
- Hands-on exposure to advanced warehouse processes including Yard Management, Cross-Docking, Slotting & Rearrangement, and Wave/Labour-oriented picking.
- Understanding of Lean Warehousing and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements in warehouse operations.
