We are looking for an experienced Workday Financial Management Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financials solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders to support core financial processes, deliver scalable solutions, ensure compliance, and drive successful system adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional workshops with Finance teams to gather requirements across R2R, P2P, and O2C processes.
- Configure Workday Financial modules including GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, and Banking.
- Design and support Chart of Accounts, financial structures, accounting rules, and allocations.
- Manage data migration, data validation, and historical financial data conversion.
- Collaborate with integration teams for seamless connectivity with ERP, Payroll, Banking, and Tax systems.
- Develop Workday financial reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership teams.
- Configure business processes, approvals, workflows, and controls aligned with compliance standards.
- Perform unit testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and internal audit requirements.
- Support post-go-live stabilization, user training, and hypercare activities.
- Engage senior stakeholders including CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership.
Required Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with Workday Financial Management modules.
- Expertise in Workday configuration, security, reporting, and business processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance.
- Experience with multi‑entity and multi‑currency financial environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in Workday implementation, enhancement, or support projects.
