Lead Full Stack Java Developer

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Lead Full Stack Java Developer@Holborn, UK (Hybrid Working)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain server-side components with Spring Boot.
• Implement GraphQL API interactions.
• Integrate databases, ensure data security, and optimize queries.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Utilize Velocity scripts for server-side rendering.
• Deploy and manage AWS services.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Ensure code quality and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on React, Next.js, Spring Boot, and GraphQL.
• Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience with Velocity scripts and API development.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
