- Support CAD development, interface definition, and packaging studies.
- Own the delivery of seating systems to program milestones (e.g., VP, Job 1).
- Track engineering release schedules, cost targets, and weight metrics.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage tooling, prototype builds, and part approvals.
- Support comfort assessments, occupant safety evaluations, and durability testing.
- Drive resolution of technical issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Benchmark competitor seating systems and contribute to future feature strategy.
- Interface with Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Studio Design teams.
- Chair seating attribute reviews and negotiate trade-offs across functions.
- Ensure alignment with global regulatory standards and customer expectations.
- Manage the cost and weight of the system as per vehicle target.
