We are now looking for a Merchandising Assistant (Temp Contract) to join our HQ team and support operations and logistics for a 3-month period.
About the Role: Merchandising Assistant (3-Month Contract)
As the Merchandising Assistant at Smartech Retail Group, you’ll support the smooth running of our day-to-day operations and play an essential role in delivering successful store launches and partner activations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll collaborate across teams, manage timelines, and help optimize merchandising processes to ensure efficiency and great customer experiences.
This contract role is ideal for someone with a merchandising background – a Senior Allocator or Assistant Merchandiser open to opportunities would be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support onboarding of new brands and ensure smooth, on-time store launches.
- Coordinate between HQ, store teams, and suppliers to resolve operational issues.
- Assist with merchandising processes and cross-functional operational support.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales, financial, and performance reports.
- Track key KPIs and highlight insights for management.
- Identify bottlenecks and support process improvements to boost efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in merchandising, allocation, or retail operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with data.
About the Position
- Contract: 3 months, starting ASAP
- Location: Marylebone, London (5 days in office)
- Hours: Full-time
- Compensation: Equivalent to £28,500 – £30,000 p.a. (depending on experience)
