The Role

As Social Media Manager, you will lead the growth of Smartech’s social presence and brand community across platforms. You will own the development and execution of our social content strategy, drive audience growth, build meaningful influencer relationships, and create content that makes people want to engage with our brand. You’ll play a key role in helping scale the business from an ambitious retail concept into a globally recognised consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content-first social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging social content that reflects the Smartech brand and drives audience growth
  • Identify, outreach to, and build long-term relationships with influencers, creators, and brand partners
  • Manage influencer collaborations from sourcing and negotiation through to execution and reporting
  • Drive community engagement and help grow Smartech’s online presence and cultural relevance
  • Create social-first campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, footfall, and customer acquisition
  • Work closely with internal teams, retail partners, and external collaborators to bring campaigns and activations to life
  • Analyse content and platform performance, identifying trends and opportunities to continuously optimise growth
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, creator culture, and emerging content formats
  • Capture and produce content through photography, videography, interviews, events, and behind the scenes storytelling
  • Support launches, retail activations, and events with real time social coverage and creator engagement

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years experience in social media, content, influencer marketing, or brand marketing
  • Proven experience growing a B2C brand and scaling social audiences and engagement
  • Experience building or significantly growing a brand/community (for example from 0–100K followers or beyond)
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and social-first content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Excellent creative instincts with the ability to develop engaging, culturally relevant content that drives audience growth and engagement
  • Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build authentic partnerships and communities
  • Experience with photography, videography, and creative/AI tools for content creation and ideation is a plus
