- Establish practical process and policy foundations covering timesheets, BAU versus project work, leave, sickness, incidents, and role capacity assumptions.
- Define role and competency profiles, including band or grade alignment, must-have skills, and experience.
- Build and maintain a demand versus capacity view to highlight shortages and upcoming pinch points early.
- Review and set up the resource management tool, templates and reporting aligned to PMO needs.
- Clarify governance and decision routes, including who decides recruitment, allocation and priorities, and how issues are escalated.
- Align with HR and IT to streamline onboarding and offboarding, including access, devices and permissions.
- Work with Commercial and Procurement on contract, supplier and secondment visibility, plus cost profiles and budget alignment.
