Overview of the Position
The Clinical Systems Integration Specialist will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solutions across healthcare organisations. This role encompasses deployment activities for leading EPR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, Lorenzo, and similar systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage system integrations to ensure secure and reliable data exchange between clinical applications.
- Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and clinical stakeholders to define integration requirements and workflows.
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot interfaces (e.g. HL7, FHIR) to maintain data accuracy and system performance.
- Support go-live and post-implementation activities, resolving integration issues to minimise clinical disruption.
Qualifications
- EPR Expertise is essential for this hire.
- Strong understanding of NHS integration Engines (Rhapsody, CloverLeaf, Mirth, HL7, FHIR, Spine).
- Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills.
